Science and Technology

My interest in science developed as a child, and I went on to get a degree in physics and teach high school science for over a decade. As a result, I am comfortable with scientific concepts and language, and quite good at putting scientific ideas into terms nonscientific people can understand.

And technology? I got my first computer when I was in junior high, farther back than I care to remember and long enough ago that the computer hooked up to a TV. I've been involved with them ever since. Over the years I've been the official--and unofficial--tech support guy for a number of organizations for many different applications and platforms. Mac, Windows, even some Unix/Linux... I'm completely comfortable working with technology and writing about technological issues.

Put my science and technology background to work for you!

(P.S. : To give you an idea of how strongly my interest in, and comfort with, science and technology continues, let me say I was a charter subscriber to MAKE magazine. Check it out.)
